Michael Penix Jr., Darnell Mooney, and the Atlanta Falcons are determined to stay competitive in the NFC South as they look to secure a win against the San Francisco 49ers in a new edition of SNF.

The Atlanta Falcons will be without wide receiver Darnell Mooney when they take on the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. Mooney missed the first two days of practice to begin the week, and according to ESPN's Marc Raimondi, has been ruled out for Week 6.

The Falcons led, 17-10 at that point with a clear void left by Mooney that could be felt as it has been before in such a closely contested game. It marked the team's third injury of the day after tight end Feleipe Franks (arm) was ruled questionable, and cornerback Natrone Brooks (concussion) was ruled out after suffering a scary hit.

Mooney (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
