Drake Maye and the New England Patriots are the hottest team in the NFL, winning six in a row after a thriller Sunday vs. the Atlanta Falcons. His wife Ann Maye stayed hot with her game-day fits as well. So far in his second season, Maye has thrown for 2285 yards, 17 touchdowns and only four interceptions.

The Falcons also used a top-10 pick on a quarterback last year, selecting Michael Penix Jr. with the No. 8 overall selection. However, Penix has only started nine NFL games after spending most of his rookie year backing up Kirk Cousins.

Patriots QB coach Ashton Grant credits Maye's rapid development to his willingness to be challenged and ability to quickly apply corrections. That was seen in Thursday's practice.
