Wonder Woman's next film adaptation will be penned by the same person who wrote the script for next year's Supergirl movie.

This update comes hot on the heels of DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn saying that he's "always had Wonder Woman as a priority" News first broke of the DCU's new take on Diana Prince last month, but this is the first concrete detail we've had since then (no director or actors are attached to the project just yet).

In 2017, 76 years after she debuted in the pages of All Star Comics #8, Wonder Woman finally scored her own live-action feature film, which followed one year after Gal Gadot debuted as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
