Following a woeful first three quarters, J.J. McCarthy rallied the Minnesota Vikings to a dramatic win over Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears on Monday night in his first NFL game.

With the Falcons and Michael Penix Jr. visiting U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday night, it’s the second straight game the Vikings face a quarterback from the same draft class as J.J. McCarthy.

Trailing 17-6 after three quarters, the Vikings scored three unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Each touchdown was scored by McCarthy, who shook off Nahshon Wright's 74-yard pick-six that extended the Bears' lead to 11 points early in the second half.

The Minnesota Vikings' offense came to life during the second half of their Week 1 win over the Chicago Bears, and while quarterback J.J. McCarthy stole most of the headlines, there was another Vikings player who helped drive the bus: running back Jordan Mason.

Cashman pulled up with a hamstring injury when he was chasing Bears quarterback Caleb Williams on a scramble during Minnesota's 27-24 win on Monday night. Cashman went to the blue medical tent and was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game.
