Polling locations for special election to fill Kentucky Senate District 37 seat announced
The Jefferson County Clerk's Office is getting ready for a special election to fill the Kentucky Senate District 37 seat that was recently vacated by David Yates.
The United States Senate has confirmed Chad Meredith from Lexington to serve as a judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
"His thoughtfulness and commitment to our Constitution will serve him well as he carries out his new duties," McConnell wrote.
State records show out of more than 75,000 registered voters in Kentucky Senate District 37, 58% of them are Democrats while 30% are Republicans.
