Hockey Canada has officially announced the complete men's hockey roster for the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.

A sheet of ice has been sitting at LoanDepot Park in Miami, and the National Hockey League is counting on it not melting — at least before the Panthers meet the Rangers at the Winter Classic.

The 4 Nations Face-Off, which was conducted by the NHL and featured Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States, marked the first best-on-best international hockey tournament since the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

Olympic organizers defended the size of the rink to be used in the hockey tournament after reports that it was shorter than the standard NHL size.

Hockey Canada leaned on proven winners in unveiling its men’s ice hockey team for the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics, announcing on Wednesday an NHL-powered group expected to end the tournament on the top step of the podium.

Matthew Keeler's SkateSkins debuted on NHL ice with Philadelphia Flyers this season. Keeler's Dishin brand also partnered with New Era on hockey jerseys.
