President Donald Trump signed three new executive orders on Wednesday evening, praising the current U.S. artificial intelligence landscape while pledging to leverage federal power to make the country an “AI export powerhouse.”

Trump has made liberal use of executive orders, setting a record for the most signed during his first 100 days in office in his second term. In his first 100 days, the president signed 142 executive orders, far surpassing the record of 99 executive orders set by former President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
