Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Chris Tanev was released from the hospital after a frightening collision during a game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has announced that defenseman Chris Tanev has been discharged from hospital and will return home to Toronto to rest and recover. Tanev collided with Philadelphia Flyers forward Matvei Michkov in Saturday’s 5-2 victory over the Flyers.
