The event, co-sanctioned with the DP World Tour, is set to boast a wonderful field consisting of so many of the world’s top players including No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, back in action for the first time since the Travelers Championship.

Although an unsuspecting pro is still searching for his first top-10 finish of the year, that didn't stop him from making a big splash at the Scottish Open.

Golf's oldest championship returns to Royal Portrush. It's the third time the British Open has gone to the Northern Ireland links. Shane Lowry won in 2019.
