A newborn was safely surrendered at a Greenville, South Carolina, hospital under Daniel's Law, the state’s Safe Haven for Abandoned Babies Act.
The baby boy was born Monday and weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces.
Officials said Anderson County DSS took custody of the infant based on the mother residing in Anderson County.
