A suspected gunman is in custody after a fight near a bustling Philadelphia street corner lead to a shooting Friday afternoon, FOX 29's Steve Keeley reports.

In a wild chain of events on Friday, Oct. 4, a teenager was shot on a crowded SEPTA bus before the suspects involved used a stolen car to get away and led officers on a chase throughout North Philadelphia,

The officer opened fire at the 54-year-old man at an intersection in the Academy Gardens neighborhood, investigators say.

A shooting at a Chinese take-out ended with a police chase, crash and a pair of arrests just a couple of miles away.

Officials said an off-duty police officer killed a 54-year-old man in a shooting that happened near the intersection of Willits Road and Holme Avenue late Thursday night.
