It has been a good NFL Sunday for former Oregon Ducks players. Quarterbacks' Bo Nix and Justin Herbert both led their teams to wins, putting them in prime position to make the playoffs. However, they weren't the only Ducks making big plays.

Davis Mills came on in relief and played well for the Texans, keeping them in the lead for much of the game. But after the Broncos tied it at 15-15 in the fourth quarter, it became a duel between two teams, each looking to win the game the same way... with stout defense and needing just a big play or two on offense.
For years, Payton would give his quarterbacks — from Drew Brees to Russell Wilson and now Bo Nix — elaborate playcalls. However, this season, the Denver Broncos head coach has shrunk the calls a bit in order to help Denver's offense play at a faster tempo.
"The sun is going to come up tomorrow whether I have a great game or whether I have a bad game," Broncos QB Bo Nix said.
