The inaugural Enterprise train service travelled from Belfast to Dublin steamed off at 10.30am on 11 th August 1947. Date finally announced for when trains will start running at Belfast's new Grand Central Station
The bus-and-rail body said that it has “preliminary plans” to start rail services on Sunday, October 13. This will see the rail line between Belfast and Lisburn reopen for passenger services. Meanwhile the cross-border Enterprise services will operate to/from Belfast Grand Central Station instead of Lanyon Place.
