HUSKERS FOOTBALL Recap – Injuries/Double Standards…But Short Again: USC 21 NEBRASKA 17
After a first down, Raiola dropped back and the pocket collapsed. He attempted to run to his right, but apparently no warnings were issued from his blind side and he was crushed from behind and fumbled it back to USC. More importantly, he suffered an apparent ankle injury and T.J. Lateef would have to take over when they once again had the ball.
Nebraska suffered its 29th consecutive loss to AP-ranked opponents, dating to 2016. USC's chances of making the CFP improved to 21 percent.
The No. 23 USC Trojans are taking on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a close game. While the Trojans are running the ball at a high level, USC coach Lincoln Riley is under fire for his playcalling against the Cornhuskers.
