Metro police are investigating after a dead dog was found in a crate in an East Las Vegas neighborhood, marking the second concerning animal incident in the area this week.

Police said they recieved a call about a woman "down in the roadway," later finding that the woman had been hit by an unknown vehicle that had fled the scene.
