YANGON: Petrol stations in Yangon have been testing the sale of fuel using QR codes starting from March 12, according to sources.

To reduce queues for purchasing fuel, vehicles and motorcycles will be sold with QR codes. The sale will be trialed at petrol stations in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay and Taunggyi starting March 12.
