Team USA has completed an extraordinary sweep of Olympic ice hockey gold in the Milan Olympics, with both the men’s and women’s rosters defeating Canada in overtime thrillers to stand atop the podium.

At the 2026 Winter Paralympics, Women’s Para ice hockey is still largely pushed to the sidelines. There’s no dedicated event, and most teams, including Canada, have no women on their rosters.
