On Sunday, however, the team walked into MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., and rolled over the New York Giants in a dominant 34-24 win to improve San Francisco’s record to 6-3. The Giants dropped to 2-7.

The 49ers on Sunday scored 20 unanswered points after Dart and Co. got a touchdown on the opening drive. The Giants never got closer than 10 for the remainder of the game, as San Francisco scored touchdowns on its first two fourth-quarter drives, to go up 27-10 and then 34-17.

There were fans booing at times, and justifiably leaving early. That left the again all-too-familiar sight and sound of opposing fans, this time a sea of red-jersey clad 49ers fans, loudly celebrating their victory on the Giants’ home turf.
