Lerman, 33, touched on his relationship with Corrigan, the ceramic artist whom he has been engaged to since November 2023 , while he and his Oh, Hi! costar Molly Gordon spoke with PEOPLE at Sony Pictures Classics and The Cinema Society's screening of the romantic comedy at the Roxy Cinema and Jimmy in New York City on Tuesday, July 22.

The film — which Gordon produced and helped develop the story for alongside writer-director Sophie Brooks — follows a couple on their first romantic getaway, when upon arrival Lerman’s character Isaac says he’s not ready for a serious relationship and Gordon’s character Iris goes to great lengths to convince him otherwise.
