The one name that every Thunder fan has been glued to regarding Summer League, though, is Nikola Topic — Oklahoma City’s draft pick from a season ago that spent the year rehabbing with an injury. He has had to shake off the rust, but his summer stretch has given this Thunder team plenty to be excited about.

The Oklahoma City Thunder collected a 90-81 Summer League win over the Brooklyn Nets. More importantly, it was the best Topic has looked throughout the entire two-week summer event so far.

As the final seconds ticked away, Nikola Topic lofted over a one-handed pass across the court to a step-ahead Ajay Mitchell. The starting backcourt connected again for a deep-pass assist that resulted in a transition layup before the third quarter expired.
