New COVID developments and the state's regulations are being overhauled with more rules eased. From this Friday, household contacts will no longer need to isolate but they'll need to follow these guidelines. For 7 days, close contacts must, have no symptoms, wear a mask indoors in public, take daily rapid tests, avoid the elderly and vulnerable, and work from home if possible. NSW recorded 12 deaths and 787 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night. There have been 309 COVID-19 related deaths in NSW since 16th June and 365 in total since the start of the pandemic. The roadmap to freedom for New South Wales has been revealed.
