It’s Week 1 of Troop School for the Class of 2024-B! The first day of Troop School is chaotic for the recruits. From the moment they arrive, they get a lot of physical training and drill instruction. This week was Assessment Week, where the recruits faced real-life scenarios in every field they have studied to ensure their readiness for graduation. It’s an annual tradition for the recruits to hike to the summit of Pinnacle Mountain with their Drill Instructors, symbolizing their journey through Troop School and their ascent to becoming Arkansas State Troopers.
