Don Carlton was a pioneering Pro Stock driver of the 1970s, best known for his role on the Chrysler team with the Motown Missile cars and as their primary driver/test driver. He was recognized as a talented and innovative driver, but his career ended tragically in July 1977 in a fatal accident while testing a Pro Stock car for Chrysler. In honor of his achievements, Carlton was inducted into the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame and the North Carolina Drag Racing Hall of Fame. 🔥🏁🏆🇺🇸 #l
