What is Lovenox? Why do I need it and how do I do the injections?

Come along with me to give myself a Lovenox injection at 16 weeks pregnant. 🤰 This medication (or heparin) is often prescribed to moms like me who have had recurrent miscarriages. It’s anti-inflammatory, and it’s a blood thinner. Inflammation and blood clots can both be big reasons for recurrent pregnancy loss. Although I’ve done the testing, and have never been diagnosed with these issues, my doctor thought it would be a good idea to treat this pregnancy as if I did have a diagnosed issue. Man
