Two volcanic activities were recorded at the Mayon Volcano on Friday morning, June 5. A minor Strombolian activity was first recorded at 5:59 a.m., followed by lava effusion with collapse-fed pyroclastic density currents or "uson" at 9:07 a.m. Mayon's effusive eruption has now been ongoing for 151 consecutive days, with Alert Level 3 still in effect.
