Woodstock, 3 Days of Peace & Music (1970)

Animals know when they’re in an unsafe space. And much, much more often than you hear about it, they take matters into their own wings, hooves, or paws to try and survive. These two small silkie chickens just arrived here, having liberated themselves from a live market in New York City. We’re always struck by the bravery of animals who fight for their survival, and are so glad to be able to offer these two a safe home. But we need some names! Who do they strike you as? Let us know!
